GERMAN container shipping line Hapag-Lloyd is scrapping one of the three loops it operates on the North Europe-East Coast South American tradelane, returning to the two-loop pattern it offered before April 2012.
The carrier will maintain the 'Brazil-River Plate Express' (BPX) service offered through slots on the Hamburg Sud-Alianca North Europe-ECSA service, reports Alphaliner.
It will also continue the 'Brazil Express' (BZX) service offered through slots on the North Europe-ECSA service that is jointly operated by MSC, CSAV and CMA CGM (SAEC 2/Safran 2/EuroAtlan 2).
The 'Brazil La Plata Express' (BLX) service will be terminated. This service has been offered through slots on MSC's North Europe-ECSA 'SAEC 1' service since April 2012.
