US Maritime Administration to hold public meeting on marine transport

THE US Maritime Administration is calling stakeholders and public to meet at 9am to 430pm January 14, 15 and 16 at the Department of Transportation headquarters in Washington for a discussion on how to improve marine transport.

Ideas about speakers and topics for the public meeting's agenda are being requested, and submissions will be accepted until November 22, reports the American Shipper, citing the notice in the Federal Register.

The meeting coincides with the annual Transportation Research Board convention in Washington, which is supported by the Department of Transportation (DoT) and gathers together transportation officials from the freight industry.
